Please note: We have discontinued support of our Bitrix24 plugin. Bitrix24 users can still easily import contact and company details exported from SigParser via a CSV file.

At this time Bitrix24 doesn’t have an Outlook plugin but there are tools like SigParser and PieSync that can get your contacts into Outlook and Bitrix24 without any manual effort on your part.
In this guide we’ll cover how to get contacts into Outlook and Bitrix24 without an Outlook plugin and get even better results than if you had an Outlook plugin.
Did you know???
Did you know your contacts aren’t actually stored in Outlook. They’re actually stored on a server in the cloud on a service like Office 365 or Exchange. When you access your contacts in Outlook then Outlook it connecting to the server in the cloud and pulling down your contacts.
Second, your Bitrix24 instance is probably missing a lot of contact data so even if you had a Bitrix24 Outlook Plugin it wouldn’t do you much good. We find 80% of contacts never make it into a CRM system. Even teams with diligent data entry are missing 30% of their key relationships even with Outlook plugin usage.
Solution 1: Create contacts in Outlook and Bitrix24 automatically
The location with all your contacts is actually your email server and all the emails it holds. Your email signatures. The email addresses on email headers. The reality is no one has time to enter all those contacts into Bitrix24 or add them to Outlook manually.
We find even for CRMs with an Outlook plugin people don’t add the contacts to the CRM still because it requires manual effort for each contact.
That’s where SigParser comes into the picture.
SigParser is able to scrape the email for you and your team, build your business a single database of contact data and automatically add contact data to both Outlook AND Bitrix24 using configurable rules. This includes all the email addresses, titles and phone numbers.
If you sync your Office 365 contacts to your phone then you’d have access to all the contact data on the go.
> **Connecting Bitrix24 and SigParser** > To connect SigParser to your Bitrix24 environment you need to install the SigParser app in the Bitrix app store. Then go into SigParser, Settings, Data Sources and Add the Bitrix24 connector.
Solution 2: Use connector apps to sync data
Another solution if you already have lots of contact data in Bitrix24 is to get a tool like PieSync. It’s not a great solution for a team of email accounts but could work for an individual. What it can do is add contacts to your Outlook contacts using a set of configurable rules. The rule engine is a bit more complex and requires more thought but can be a decent solution.
Unfortunately PieSync doesn’t get you any new contact data so it only solves the data sync issue so you’ll still likely want a solution like SigParser.
Why isn’t there a Bitrix24 Outlook Plugin?
Outlook plugins are tough to build. At SigParser we’ve investigated it many times ourselves but have not done it yet. In Outlook 2013 there was one technology for building the plugins that let you do a lot in Outlook but was notoriously hard to write for. For example, SalesForce has a plugin but we get a lot of complaints from people using it that it’s buggy for the version of Outlook they’re using.
In Outlook 2016 and later there was a new technology that wasn’t nearly as powerful but does work in both the desktop and browser version of Office 365. Some companies have made Outlook plugins for this new technology but often requires more clicks than the old technology and people often forget they have the plugin installed.
