How to Manually Import Contacts & Contact Details Into HubSpot
Follow these steps to manually import contacts into HubSpot CRM.
1: Click the Contacts tab on the upper menu bar and select Contacts from the dropdown menu
2: Click the Import button in the upper right corner of the screen
3: Click the Start an import button
4: Select File from a computer option and click the Next button
5: Select the One file option and click the Next button
6: Choose One object and click the Next button
7: Click Contacts and then click the Next button
8: Choose the file on your local machine to upload. (.csv, .xlsx, and .xls are supported)
9: Map the columns in your file to the contact fields in HubSpot
10: Confirm that the list is ready to create and valid and click the Finish Import button

FAQ: Couldn't I do this myself?
We get this question a lot from people. You can export contacts from Google or Outlook contacts apps into a .csv file but you can only export the contacts (and contact details) that you have manually created yourself.
